Boots and Bourbon

Boots and Bourbon is a casual fall event held by the Foundation’s Pegasus Board. The Pegasus Board is comprised of a group of young women with an interest in philanthropy and raising funds in the fight against cancer in support of the Foundation’s mission.

Last year’s inaugural event was held on Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Round Barn at the Red Mile in Lexington, Kentucky. A casual barbeque dinner by Bayou Bluegrass was served and guests enjoyed music by Kentucky’s own Halfway to Hazard. All proceeds raised benefited the Lexington Cancer Foundation.
