Kentucky Bluegrass Wine Auction
The Kentucky Bluegrass Wine Auction is a unique event held during one of the most exciting weeks of the year in Kentucky – Derby Week! The auction is held at the historic Keeneland Racecourse, surrounded by rolling hills of beautiful horse farms. In four short years, this event has raised over 2.5 million dollars in support of the Foundation’s mission in the fight against cancer.
Guest from all over the country come to Kentucky to participate in this special event. The evening begins with an exclusive vintner pouring and silent auction. Dinner and the live auction follow, including items such as a 2009 Lexus, ownership of a thoroughbred racehorse, trips to Italy, England, New York Fashion Week, Jackson Hole, and many more!
Each year a growing number of vintners come to the Bluegrass to pour their wines. Participating vintners have included Jackson Family Wines, Oakville Ranch Vineyards, Blackbird Vineyards, Jordan Vineyards, Chalk Hill, Revana Family Vineyards, Barbour Vineyards, Palmaz Vineyards, Grgich Hills Estate, Duckhorn Vineyards, Spottswoode Estate Winery and Vineyards, Charles Krug Winery, Quintessa, Magnanimus Wine Group, Jean Farris Winery and many more.
The Kentucky Bluegrass Wine Auction is an experience unlike any other!
